Great results from the Indonesia Dancesport Championship (2nd last leg of the Asia Tour)! My debut in standard pre-am, first time doing the tango, and first competition trained by teacher Mikhail. :)It was an awesome competition, not because of the results, but how we did things differently this time. We could dance even when the floor was crowded, able to exit gracefully when being blocked on the floor without stumbling which we used to be. Stamina was also greatly improved. In the past, we were already half dead even before the start of the second dance (quickstep) and now, we are able to complete quickstep (now being the third dance) with proper hold and posture, not to mention maintaining the smile during semis and finals. Very happy indeed. The results are comforting too. Placed 2nd in Novice and 4th in pre-am...wonderful surprise to get into pre-am finals. The happiness is beyond words.

Now that I'm back, I'm feeling a little lost and blue. I guess it's natural after all the adrenaline rush. :) Now, time to settle down again, plan for my BKK training, and get back to Latin with hopefully a brand new image (for the better obviously). For standard, looking fwd to the JB comp in end-April.
