Another milestone. Now pre-am 4th in the recent comp held in JB, just behind all the Thai couples. I've concluded, it's about being mature in the dance and that I'm on the right track now...not following 'those' hard and 'powerful' dancing is correct. Do your own way, hold on to what you know (Bryan Watson :D), trust your teacher's teaching, trust yourself, and trust the partnership. It will work.

I really feel sorry for those who are still very immature in their thinking. They do not treasure what they have and think the grass is always greener on the other side...while the rest are progressing, they are constantly in search of the 'perfect' partner, 'perfect' teacher. By the time they start ALL over the again...time is running out.
