FEEL THE BEAT

Simply love this random picture I took using my iPhone at west coast park. Got feel one ler...haha though it's not the best camera. On the bus now going home...I feel so swarmed with work. Had lunch with ling at raffles city...cos I wanted to get a document bag to bring my work home to do. I foresee myself bringing things back at least for the next few months. But I tell myself - it will be over soon and at least I have tried my best.

Haven't been able to concentrate on dance these weeks. Dance is so stressful now...that I cried over not being able to dance well last Saturday. So I've decided not to do this week's competition. But there is a dance exam coming up on 10th October...I shall learn the steps over two lessons. :) it will be ok.

People...if I whine, pls lend me a listening ear. If I snap at u, pls forgive me. I am trying my best to fulfill all my obligations...and trying real hard to keep things under control. :)

I'm gg to be fine....

A short break from work and dance...and I am feeling recharged! :)

Firstly, congrats to my dear friends on your wedding. 9 years of courtship...and finally they tied the knot on Saturday, 18 Sept 2010. JQ and I are very honoured to be able to share this special occasion with ann and Jason. How magical our friendship is...people from two different geographical locations, different backgrounds and able to maintain this friendship for 6 years. :) In these 6 years, we've flown to hk many times, and same for them. They call SG their second home, and I call HK my second home. :) I knew ann in school days, and then now we are both working adults, and today ann's happily married. Sweet. Jason even flashed a picture taken with Fluffy during the wedding banquet.

Now that they have their own homes, JQ and I will probably fly to hk more often and we'll be
staying at their house. Just before we left HK yesterday, we've made a deal to visit japan together next July for their big sale! Looking forward....very very much.

Before that, we'll get to meet again this Sunday and again in October at huiching's wedding! :)

We love u!

Life's back to normal, and I can finally take a breather. But somehow, now I don't want to rest...it feels empty. All the rush, the numerous practise before comp, now I'm slightly lost. Ah-hem, but I gained sth over this comp...a scar on my forehead! I was bleeding on the competition floor yesterday, scared the shit outa of mum. Thanks to someone's tooth, which is still intact. Hahaa. It was a great event, though performance during pream semis was very much below par, with unstable steps and messy movements. So yea, we dun deserve to get through...nth to do with the adjudicators. Came in fifth for Latin amateur rising star...though not satisfied, I guess this is the best I can do for now. The couples placed before us are indeed better. :)

Very much thanks to Annie who really spend alot of time and patience on us. She is the best best teacher I've met, strict and dedicated and have given us really strong foundation. Thanks to ooi and dennis as well, who gave us a different perspective to dance.

I'm addicted to making costumes! Gona make a new one again. Heeee I've got the design in mind already. Shall get it done in Bangkok this round. Thumbs up! Can't wait.

Brought lil ones to west coast park this afternoon. There was a dog event and wow, fluff and cookie were so excited to see hundreds of doggie friends. Participated in the dog walk and it was so fun. Realize cookie likes dogs with long fur! Those hairless ones are not to his liking...so funny. 以貌取狗.

Okies. What's next? Visit jiwon this week, focus on my work and clearing those backlogs, rest, and plan my visit to hong kong, and plan my training schedule for the next comp. I have lots of plans in mind for my training already...great. :)

Nights.
